  • PURPOSE
    For dust-free smoothing of wall and ceiling surfaces indoors and for filling in minor scratches and defects
    Creates a durable ground for paint coats and wallpapers
    Df-16 can be used on all mineral building substrates and old paint coats, including oil and emulsion paint, provided that the substrate is durable, clean and dry
    PROPERTIES
    No sanding dust
    The great advantage of Df-16 is the ability to produce a smooth surface without sanding. Dry sanding, which is recommended for typical polymeric glazes, creates a lot of annoying dust. Dust-free wet grinding, recommended for Df-16, reduces the amount of dust to a minimum. A major advantage of the product is that it is ready for immediate use after opening the package. Df-16 is recommended to be used straight from the bucket without any preparation work. Another important advantage is the ability to stop and resume work at any time. After finishing work, the bucket should be tightly closed and the product can be used again after the next opening
    Flexibility
    Characteristic feature of polymer putties is a great elasticity, which is incomparably greater than the most elastic gypsum putties. Such properties are provided by the chain structure of the polymer binder, which forms an elastic network in the structure of the product.
    Comfortable to work with
    Df-16 can be applied up to 5 mm thickness at one time. If thicker layers are applied, surface cracks may appear after drying.

    Setting and drying time 1-2 hours
    setting and drying time depends on the rate of water evaporation from the mortar. In case of a 1 mm thick layer, at +20°C and good ventilation, the mortar dries and sets in 1-2 hours. Lower ambient temperatures, increased humidity or lack of ventilation prolong the setting and drying time of the mortar.

    The product retains its properties and compliance with the European Standard EN 15824:2010 and EN 13963:2014-10 Type 2A for up to 12 months from the date of manufacture, provided that it is stored and handled correctly.
